  • OVERVIEW
  • SocietyGolf intends to provide individual golfers and golf societies with a simple to use interface for recording scores, maintaining handicaps and analysing statistics.
  • INDIVIDUALS
  • Members can enter details of courses, and then record scores from playing these courses. SocietyGolf will re-calculate handicaps, based on the scores entered and display statisitcs relevant to overall performance, as well as performance per course played, and also per-year.
It is also possible to enter per-hole scores and SocietyGolf will work out your averages over Par 3s/4s/5s, as well as displaying your best "virtual round" on each course played.
  • SOCIETIES - UNDER DEVELOPMENT
  • Members can create a society of golfers on the system by entering each golfer's details. Following each round played by the society, the scores can be entered into SocietyGolf, which then recalculates each member's handicap. Statistics can be displayed for each golfer relevant to overall performance, as well as performance per course played.
  • HANDICAPS
  • The handicap system uses a tried and tested formula, which works extremely well for the social golfer. Every golfer is required to enter an initial handicap on registration, which is then re-calculated after every round played. Unlike most handicap systems, if a golfer continually enters scores above their handicap, then the handicap can increase - although not as dramatic as the decrease when a golfer shoots below their handicap.
  • MOBILE ACCESS
  • The site has been designed, such that access from mobile devices is possible, and easily navigated.
